I don't think many people can stand all the 65 seconds of it (and
no Radio Station will ever play it unless you pay some bucks ;).
You can achieve the Intro's effect by just combining the (intro)
parts within 4 bars or even 2. Actually, right now, the entire song
can be contained within 1 minute. But that way it's not gonna be
a song.
You have to create something first, something have to happen during
your song. Add some song parts (Verse - Chorus), then it has to
esist dynamically - add some instrument parts movements (pauses,
harmonies, breaks etc.). Something really needs to happen here.
Emotions in the song are strong and expressive, thanks to the performance
- quite impressive - the "Scream" is a scream and it says it all!
And along with a better song (melodies + instrument parts) the results
can be effective!
The arrangement is pretty simple and works fine (if it was a 1
min song).
Getting to the Radiofriendly question. I can't imagine a Radio
Station playing for 30 seconds a noise. The Intro only, eliminates
any success with Stations. They are looking for Choruses. But don't
be scared of the word "Chorus". It's used to determinate a memorable
part of a song, which is repeated often and differ in some way from
the Verse. Yes, it's that "simple".
Anyway this song can be can be considered Alternative/Indie friendly,
but you have to find your particular place in this market (which
is not that big). Beware that many "Alternative/Indie" fans and
Artists call themselves that way, but will still listen to mainstream
like music.
So, my suggestion for this song is to keep the performance and
the sounds the way they are and enrich the song itself - structure,
arrangement, dynamics.
....Or otherwise cut down the song length to 1 minute and use it as
a background for a movie like "Fight Club", "Scream" etc. (oops..,
maybe it's easier to rewrite the song ;-)
Good Luck and Keep the Music in Vision!
