As we go thru the song, things that are really notable and a major
factor for the power of your sound are the dynamics and the riffs.
Guitar Riffs are acting as an active leader for the rhythmic and
melodic parts of the track. Well conceived and executed, they help
the vocal and are memorable. There's rock in it!
Very good work with the dynamics too: pauses, crescendo, switching
tempos, sound explosions, accents and screams - all of this helps
your song and makes it sound powerful, unique and emotional - the
sound that Radios are looking for.
Furthermore, there is an important role for each instrument in
the different song parts. The Bass and the Drums, for example, are
playing tight and making you jump along with the fast section. Listening
to the chords or listening to the snare - it doesn't matter - the
listener is involved with you.
The guitar solo is an excellent example of how a solo should be
offered to the listener's attantion and how the track will resume
its way (after the solo). It comes smoothly, evolves and delivers
us its beauty and then becomes part of the riff - as smoothly as
it came.
The vocal is an integral part of the arrangement and at the same
time stands out with its particular performance - things like screams,
emotional expressions, accents give the song the characteristic
sound it has. Very well performed! We live your feelings and emotions
- the "un de-ser-tor" hits your brain and the impact is
impressive.
Again - Excellent work!
But don't take my words for imperative. There are still things that
can be done better.
While the song impact is impressive and keeps the interest thru
its lines, there's one thing that could mislead the listener: The
lack of one part, more important than any other parts.
In other words - you offer many, important and well done parts.
But one part should stand out for its intensity. Don't put the listener
in difficulties. Don't ask him to remember all or more than two
parts of a song. One (usually Chorus), repeated more often than
others, is enough. The other one (usually Verse) shouldn't be as
impressive as the Chorus.
Here you could work to further increase the Chorus' strength and
by doing so you'll achieve the immediate result - an unique and
easy to remember Hook.
Keep up the excellent work!
Good Luck,
