Combine all of the above with the quality of the performancem and
here is an unique sound picture by Mahala - "Lost in the Meanwhile".
It's something that rock lovers must be aware of!
This Australian band has mixed the key song components in a well
balanced and
expressive mean - their music. And it has an unique and easy to
recognize signature:
when listening you'll be able to notice:
- the melodic harmonies - it's Rock, but definitely there's some
charming folk color;
- the riffs (a must for rock tracks) - clear, powerful, precise
and memorable;
- the rhythm is resolute and adds great dynamics to the song;
Again - it's a must listen!
Let's get to the Arrangement.
It's well conceived and balanced. The Sound ideas are presented
in a clear and
professional manner. There is nothing to cut or change. Very good
work!
One thing only my ears were missing in this track:
I think that adding a second voice on Chorus (unison, 1 octave lower
or similar) will further disclose the power of this song. You may
consider it if recording it or even for live performances.
And in conclusion:
This is an excellent song and performance and it IS a potential
Hit!
Play it around and you'll be awarded!
