3 Kisses

The magnetic, energetic Austin, TX-based alternative-pop band 3 KISSES played over 75 shows their first year out and show no signs of slowing down. They have rapidly progressed to playing big events such as the Motive Bison Stampede Half Marathon to benefit the Leukemia Lymhoma Society and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure where the band performed for over 19,000 race participants.

An exquisite concoction of unusual guitar work blended with atmospheric vocals, dynamic drums and driving bass lines, 3 KISSES has evolved into a captivating act with an infectious sound. From the driving rock-funk of "Yellow" to the dreamy, melodic yearning of "Wings" and even further, to the retro 60's rock vibe of Watin' Time", 3 KISSES encompasses the spectrum. 3 KISSES is: Tish Meeks Tony Meeks Ed Hale Jennie Rutherford - Tish is the lead singer, writes lyrics/music and plays guitar; - Tony plays guitar, sings backing vocals and writes music; - Ed is on the bass; - Jennie plays drums.

The primary goal of 3 KISSES every time they take the stage is to have fun! Tish's interaction with Tony, Ed and Jennie, combined with her commanding stage presence and vivacious personality invite the audience to be part of the 3 KISSES experience. This diverse band is out to show you a good time!

Most recently, 3 KISSES has been featured on Indie Artist Radio, on James St. James's Indie Limelight Radio Show, Indie-Music.com, Rockland World Radio, The Next Big Thing, and they were spotlighted by the Austin American-Statesman in the Fall 2004 Showcase directory previewing the Central Texas Music Scene.

3 KISSES first release, Wings, prompted a publicity deal with TinderboX Music, and is currently on rotation at college radio stations across the country. Tha band premiered their first video "Yellow" in September on the Austin Music Network, and live on 6th Street at The Vibe.
